Quick slice of the Purple Yam Cheesecake

A new dessert option at Starbucks.

The ube-cheese mix is good; it has the right level of subtle sweetness, with a hint of sharpness. The macapuno component however adds the unnecessary saccharine layer, making this cheesecake too sweet! Also, a pinch of saltiness would've been nice.

Also, we find the crust too thin. A thicker crust could've tempered the sweetness of the top layers.

A slice costs Php 120.
