First bite of the Cheese Tonkatsu

It's Tokyo Tokyo's latest offering.

The Cheese Tonkatsu is tonkatsu with an added layer of creamy cheese sauce, served with a tangy sweet dip, rice, and fresh cabbage topped with sesame dressing.

Is it good?  Well, the meat itself is a little salty.  One needs the dip to temper the taste.  The sliced cabbage side dish on the other hand is delicious; the sesame dressing has a punctuated, nutty flavor.  The vegetable also helps temper the saltiness of the pork.

An order costs Php 145.  The Bento meal, with coffee jelly and iced tea, costs Php 195.

Try it and judge for yourself.
