We loved the depth of the flavor of this dessert brought about by the delicious combination of rum and dark chocolate. Plus, the sweetness is just right, enough to sufficiently balance the bitterness and the liquor flavor. But what we really enjoyed eating was the gooey rum-chocolate truffle on top of the cake. Bittersweet chocolate par excellence. YUMMY!
The cheesecake also had good integrity and texture. It wasn't too messy to eat.
FYI: when you order the Chocolate Rhum Cheesecake, look at the ganache closely; it has gold specks. Luxurious!
