At last, Razon's! I've been wanting to try their food for a long time and I finally got the chance to do so a few minutes ago.
I ordered the Halo-Halo (Php 90) and Pancit Luglug (Php 90), their specialties.
Razon's Halo-Halo is unique for it only has three main ingredients: minatamis na saging, macapuno, and leche flan. Another thing that makes it different from other halo-halos is the crushed ice used; the ice is fine and melts faster in the mouth. The halo-halo is delicious and has the right amount of sweetness (the sweetness comes mainly from the banana in syrup concoction). One can also taste the distinct flavors of the main ingredients.
As for texture, one isn't shortchanged. There's chewiness from the macapuno shreds, bite from the firm banana pieces, and velvety texture from the delicious leche flan.
Razon's Halo-Halo may only have three ingredients but it sure gives full satisfaction.
Next, the Pancit Luglug. Fat translucent noodles, red orange sauce teeming with meat flavor, and crushed chicharon. Yummy! What I love is that the chicharon flavor is all over the dish. The sauce has the right thickness and does not have the overpowering shrimp flavor. My only complaint is serving size; for Php 90, I want more luglug.
Try these Razon's treats now and you won't be disappointed.
Razon's is on the 2nd floor of SM City Masinag.
